RENOVATION/EXTENSION AT BLAKENEY
Yet again another great builder, we had our work cut out on this one. All the windows and doors were designed from an architect’s impression which we had to modify to achieve the best wind and weather performance, uphold the building regs with U-values and maintain the look required. All the joinery was manufactured from Sapele (hardwood), pre-finished and glazed in our workshop.
THE SPINNEY, BURNHAM MARKET
A new build in Burnham Market which is a stunning build. The clients bought the plot with a small house and demolished the site and started again. We were instructed to provide many modern pieces of joinery, including two large circular center pivot windows along with projecting frame windows and doors. Working closely with the architect and main contractor, we were asked to supply, along with all the external joinery, modern vertical boarding constructed in Iroko and are in talks with the client about internal plantation shutters and furniture. We fully finished these windows and doors in our spray shop with one colour externally and a different colour internally. The joinery within the Iroko boarded areas has been left un-painted to turn grey with the boarding.
HIGH SPECIFICATION NEW BUILDS IN BRUNDALL
We are pleased to have supplied the four new building plots for McItyre Homes in Brundall. These builders have a unique eye for style and quality and it has been a pleasure to work with such talented guys. These windows and doors are to our traditional pattern, constructed in treated softwood with hardwood cills, pre-finished and glazed in our workshops. The front windows required acoustic properties as they are close to the railway line which required special glass and trickle vents to conform to the building regulations.
